Since I moved back to the States, I have been searching for authentic French baguettes and sandwiches. My god, am I so happy to have come across this place. If I could rate La Bicyclette higher, I would. Pour tous les Française, la quête de la meilleure baguette est finie !

Try to avoid the rush hours as it can get busy in there but staff is very good at moving the line. Everything we ate there was above-average, genuinely good pastries, good coffee to go along. Highly recommended bakery shop. P.S.: please leave a quick ❤️ if you found this review useful, thank you 🙏

Excellent little French bakery with delicious pastries, crispy fresh baguette and other kinds of bread, plus cheese and artisan French products. I always enjoy coming to LA Bicyclette... wish it stayed open until 2pm or 3pm... Merci !!

Oh my, this is amazing! The pastries are incredibly delicious, and here I found my favorite cheese danish out of all the ones I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot). The line moves quickly, everyone is working very efficiently

This might be the best plain croissant that I have had in New York City. Certainly in the discussion for the best croissant outside of France. Put this on your list if you’re visiting anywhere close by. I will make it a point to stop in every chance I get.

The best bakery in NYC and it’s not close. It’s cramped and small inside, but it’s a great part of New York to grab food to go and walk around. Or bring a baguette and some cheese home! The coffee is ok, but the baked goods and patisserie are what I’m here for. I wish the hours were longer so I could come a little more often, but this is a must-hit.

It was so delicious that I ate it all without even thinking about taking a picture of the bread. It's really delicious. No need to say anything. You really have to try it. The pastry was delicious, the pie was delicious, and the baguette was delicious. It was a very cold day, and I waited about 15 minutes to buy bread, but it was worth the time.

This is my happy place whenever i come to NY. The vibe takes you back to Paris where great quality bread and community connections are the key focus. My go-toa are the comte jambon baguette, pain au chocolat and the financiers. Do note as this is French style the baguette is served cold and not toasted, hence it can be a bit crusty or hard for your teeth.

"Loved the authentic local vibe here! It doesn't feel like a tourist trap, but a true neighborhood gem. The moment you walk in, the smell of fresh bread is amazing. The baguette sandwiches are fresh, crusty, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended if you want real artisan bread in Brooklyn!"
